From Experiment to Enterprise: Scaling Data Science in an Open Organization
11:35 - 12:05 | Friday, May 24
There is plenty of excitement when it comes to the application of data science in business, but clarity on how that energy translates into execution is often another story. At Red Hat and in our organizational culture that “defaults to open,” finding the optimal balance of collaboration, community, and governance is the recipe for gaining forward traction and finding success in driving adoption. From managing technology to leading culture change or finding the right mix of skill sets to considering risk and bias in production models, you will need an end-to-end plan and a team of advocates to help you make it reality. In this session, you will hear our story, struggles, and advice for establishing a truly enterprise data science capability.
